Stay positive
Everyday we find ourselves being attacked by some kind of negative energy. It could be a negative thought, a negative person, or some negative news you heard. We tend to not know how to deal with certain negative things that come our way. In fact we tend to address the negativity with more negativity by feeding into it by being angry, over thinking, or just being depressed about the situation. I know this is true because it has happened to me. I found that staying in a negative state does not help the body, mind or your spirit. All three should be aligned or I will not feel like myself so I try to stay positive at all times. Staying positive, one may think better said than done but it just takes a little will power. Years ago I decided not to allow negative people or negative energy come my way or be entertained by nonsense. I know what stress and negativity does to my body and mind. What does it do to yours?
Have you thought about how staying positive can help your child have a positive mindset and stay positive as well. No we can’t control how our children think and how they feel but we can show them how staying positive is a good thing even during troubling times. With everything that is going on in the world today, its good to stay positive. I teach my daughter to stay positive with everything she does. It could be her not being sure about a class assignment or working with a person that seems to be mean all the time. Sometimes positive energy rubs off on other people as well as negative energy. I think life is too precious to stay in a negative state. It is definitely to short. Let’s try to set good examples for our children because if we don’t then who will. If you find yourself being surrounded by negativity or thinking negative, take a step back and breath. Evaluate the situation and see how you can turn it around to something positive.
